Free expiration reminder for your license or insurance
Enter what expires and when, pick how far ahead you want to be reminded, and download a calendar file with a reminder on each of those days and on the expiration day. It's made in your browser: nothing you type is sent to us (your browser keeps it only if you follow the sign-up link, for your new ledger), and no sign-up is needed. A Google Calendar button sends just that one event to Google.
Adding it to your calendar
- Apple Calendar on a Mac, or Outlook on Windows: open the downloaded file and add its events.
- Outlook on the web: under Add calendar, choose Upload from file.
- Google Calendar on a computer: open Settings, then Import & export, and import the file.
- Google Calendar on a phone: it can't open the file, so use the Google Calendar links that appear under the button, one for each date.
- iPhone or iPad: open the file from Safari's downloads. If Calendar doesn't offer to add it, use the Google Calendar links or a computer.
Each reminder is an all-day event on its own day, with an alert at 9 a.m. in calendar apps that keep a file's alerts. Google Calendar doesn't keep them.
What a calendar reminder won't do
The file covers one date. Once you renew, the reminders still point at the old one until you make a new file, and they show only on the calendar you added them to. If you missed them, nothing follows up.
Tracking more than one?
In LicenseLedger you keep every license, policy, COI and certificate in one ledger. On a paid plan, it emails your ledger's notification address 90, 60, 30, 7 and 1 days before each date by default, and on the day itself, then follows up 1, 7 and 30 days after if the date isn't updated. Log the renewal and the reminders start over for the new date. You can attach each document to its record, too.
What it costs
Every new ledger starts on the free plan, with no credit card needed. Pick a plan when you need more.
- FreeUp to 3 records and one reminder email 30 days before each record expires (for records that keep their 30-day reminder).$0
- SoloFor managing your own licenses, policies, and certifications.$15 a monthor $150 a year
- BusinessFor teams that manage licenses together.$29 a monthor $290 a year
The free plan holds 3 records and sends only one reminder email 30 days before each record expires (for records that keep their 30-day reminder), so the full reminder schedule takes Solo or Business.
